Project Overview
I designed and developed an Autonomous Software Engineering Migration Agent, an AI-powered platform engineered to streamline and automate software migration workflows through intelligent code analysis, AI-assisted transformation, autonomous migration orchestration, and structured migration planning.
The platform integrates with GitHub repositories, enabling users to connect to accessible repositories, explore source files, inspect existing code, select source and target programming languages, and initiate AI-assisted migration workflows.
Using an AI-powered migration engine integrated through the OpenRouter API, the agent generates proposed code transformations and supports automated migration planning.
The platform also incorporates an autonomous migration orchestration architecture that coordinates migration jobs, processes source files, generates migration proposals, validates proposed transformations, and supports GitHub-based publication workflows.
A key architectural principle is human-in-the-loop governance. Generated migration proposals undergo validation and require explicit approval before publication. This ensures that users retain oversight and control over changes to their code repositories.

Explore repository files, select individual source files, and inspect existing code before initiating migration workflows.

Coordinate migration jobs through an autonomous execution engine responsible for managing migration workflows, processing files, and coordinating proposal generation and validation.

Validate generated code proposals before they proceed to the approval and publication stages.
8. Human-in-the-Loop Governance
Require explicit human approval before publishing validated migration changes, maintaining oversight and control throughout the migration process.

Support the creation of dedicated migration branches, commits, and pull requests containing validated migration proposals after approval.

Commercial Strategy: Free Trials & Paid Migration Services
The initial commercial strategy is to introduce a free trial programme for selected businesses and organizations.
Companies will be invited to evaluate the platform’s existing migration capabilities, test its AI-generated migration proposals, assess migration plans, and determine whether the solution meets their technical and operational requirements.
Organizations satisfied with the platform’s performance will have the opportunity to transition to a paid service model for continued access to migration services.
This approach will allow businesses to experience the platform’s value before committing to a commercial engagement.
